Florida Woman Pleads Guilty To Tax Fraud

A Florida woman pleaded guilty for filing false tax returns and using about $500,000 in refunds for plastic surgery, a car, and home remodels. Between 2018 and 2020, Yolanda Dewar filed four false tax returns seeking $2 million in tax refunds and received $500,000, court documents show. Dewar faces three years in prison and monetary penalties. She will be sentenced on October 24th. (CBS 12)
