San Francisco Residents Say Driverless Cars Won’t Stop Honking

San Francisco residents near a Waymo parking lot say the driverless vehicles sometimes start honking at one another in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. “Over the past two weeks I’ve been woken up more times overnight than I have combined over 20 years,” resident Russell Pofsky said. Waymo says they are “aware that in some scenarios our vehicles may briefly honk while navigating our parking lots” and are working on a fix. (ABC 7 News)
