Authorities in Switzerland are trying to retrieve old munitions that were thrown into the country’s idyllic lakes. A competition has been launched a competition to gather ideas on how to remove the old munitions and the three best entries will share a prize worth 50,000 Swiss francs ($57,800). The munitions, some of which were surplus, faulty or outdated, were tossed into lakes including Lake Thun, Lake Brienz and Lake Lucerne between 1918 and 1964. (CNN)
