A surgeon in Austria has been accused of allowing his teenage daughter to drill a hole into a patient’s skull. The 33-year-old alleged victim needed an operation after a forestry accident in January, and was taken to Graz University Hospital. In April, an anonymous tip resulted in a police investigation. As a result, the surgeon in charge of his emergency operation has now been accused of allowing his 13-year-old to “help.” “An operating theatre belongs to people who have a job to do there and no one else,” specialist Manfred Bogner said.
