A four-year-old boy knocked over a Bronze Age jar that was at least 3,500 years old. The priceless artifact was being kept near the entrance of the Hecht Museum in Israel. According to the boy’s father, the child “pulled the jar slightly” to see what was inside, causing it to shatter. Luckily, the Hecht Museum was understanding. “The jar was accidentally damaged by a young child visiting the museum, and the response will be accordingly,” Lihi Laszlo said. A conservation specialist will restore the artifact, which was once used to carry supplies like wine or olive oil. (NY Post)
