89-year-old Woman Survives Ordeal By Befriending Fox

A grandmother survived four nights trapped in the Alps and made a fox friend. 89-year-old Giuseppina Bardelli was foraging for mushrooms when she went missing. Her son contacted authorities, and she was found four days later. She had apparently fallen into a gully, and befriended a wild fox while she was trapped. “A fox approached her several times. They sort of became friends. Every evening she recited the rosary,” her son Roberto said. Bardelli is now in a hospital and appears to be recovering well. (metro.co.uk)
