An ER doctor shared a horrifying scan of a patient’s legs after they ate undercooked pork. Dr. Sam Ghali posted “one of the craziest CT scans” he had ever seen on X. The image shows the extremities are filled with parasites. The patient unfortunately had a tapeworm infection. “Humans become infected with T. solium by ingesting cysts that can be found in undercooked pork,” he explained. Treatment options include anti-parasitic therapy and steroids. “The moral of the story here is do your best to keep clean, always wash your hands, and never, ever eat raw or undercooked pork,” the doctor added.
