Colt Gray, a student at the school in Winder, will be charged with murder and will be treated as an adult within the legal system. Nine other victims were injured. A Florida surgeon mistakenly removed a patient’s liver instead of his spleen, killing the man. The patient was a 70-year-old Alabama man who underwent surgery on August 21 at Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast hospital due to spleen abnormalities. The surgeon labeled the specimen as a spleen but after the man died, it was discovered that the organ was the liver “as opposed to the spleen” (NBC News)
The American Forces Network (AFN) has secured permission from the NFL to broadcast all games for military personnel. The games will be available for streaming live and on demand through the AFN Now app, with additional content like archived games and highlights.
