Footage Shows Woman Allegedly Stealing $2,400 Bird

A Florida woman is suspected of stealing a $2,400-dollar bird from a pet store in Oldsmar. The suspect appears to pick up a baby bird, stuff it into her bag, and walk out of the Everything Birds store on Saturday morning. The baby bird in question is a Black Headed Caique. “We just want the bird’s safe return so we can care for it properly,” employee Kirsten Cunningham said. The baby bird needs to eat formula and cannot eat solid foods just yet. Pinellas County officials are currently investigating. (Yahoo!)
