Chinese business Little Swan Dongshan Franchise Shop might lose about 30 million yuan, or $4.2 million dollars, due to incorrect pricing on their website. The blunder caused a shopping spree as consumers realized a washing machine was listed at a ridiculously low price. Machines that sold for about $240 were listed for just $42. Over 40,000 units were ordered in 20 minutes on August 28th. The company is attempting to issue refunds instead of honoring the sales. “We humbly beg you to understand our difficulties and to agree to withdraw orders,” the company said in a statement.
