Florida Man Allegedly Drank 25 Beers Before Passing Out While Driving

41-year-old Fermin Tlapechco reportedly told officers that he drank 25 beers in five hours when he was caught behind the wheel. Tlapechco was found by Lady Lake Police Department officials passed out in his car in a turn lane on Highway 27. Officers report that he was driving barefoot and had four full bottles of beer on the passenger’s seat. Tlapechco allegedly said he had consumed 25 beers since 5 p.m. He was discovered by officers around 10 p.m. The Florida man failed sobriety exercises and was booked at the Lake County Jail. (b1039)
