A homeowner who sold his mansion for less than asking price is now suing the realtor for allegedly not disclosing that the buyer was billionaire Jeff Bezos. Leo Kryss sold his Miami Beach estate for $79 million dollars, and was originally asking for $85 million. At one point, Kryss claims he asked his realtor if Bezos was the buyer, because the billionaire had purchased the property next door. The lawsuit alleges that Douglas Elliman CEO Jay Parker called Kryss and told him that Bezos was not the buyer. Kryss found out after closing that the purchaser of the estate was tied to him after all. “Douglas Elliman failed to fulfill their duties to our client.…They knew or should have known who the ultimate beneficial purchaser was and misrepresented that very important fact,” Attorney Dana Clayton said.
