Massachusetts Man Buys Home That Will Fall Into Ocean

Massachusetts man David Moot purchased a Cape Cod home for $395,000 despite warnings that the house may soon fall off a cliff. The home has a beautiful view but sits just 25 feet from a crumbling cliff. However, the 59-year-old said he wants to enjoy it while it lasts. The house was originally listed for $1.195 million dollars in 2022, which means Moot paid 67% less than asking price. “It’s going to eventually fall into the ocean, and it may or may not be in my lifetime,” Moot said.
