27-year-old Man Gets 120 Years For Faking Being 17

27-year-old Nebraska man Zachary Scheich was sentenced to up to 120 years in prison for pretending to be 17 in order to enroll in high school. Scheich apparently used this cover to meet underage girls at Lincoln Northwest High School in 2022 and Lincoln Southeast High School in 2015. Scheich was apparently able to blend in given his small 5 foot, 4 inch stature. A district official said in 2023 that he also procured a fake birth certificate and academic transcript. Scheich will be eligible for parole in 40 years. (newser)
