Lady Gaga shared a clip of one of her new songs on Instagram on Wednesday (September 25). The rocking song teaser for the as-yet-unnamed track – presumably called “The Joker” – is accompanied by a video shot in the Louvre in Paris, where Gaga’s Harley Quinn character dances through the empty museum before defacing the Mona Lisa with a red lipstick smile. Gaga captioned the post, “There’s always a Joker,” with the clip also promoting the forthcoming exhibition at the Louvre, Figures of the Fool, which opens on October 16. The exhibition serves as a clever artistic tie-in to Joker: Folie à Deux, Todd Phillips’ Joker sequel starring Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix which hits theaters on October 4. Gaga’s new album Harlequin is a musical companion piece to the film, and is set to be released on September 27. (Rolling Stone)
