Officer Allegedly Lost Gun In MRI Machine

A Los Angeles police officer lost his gun in an MRI machine, according to a recent report. A lawsuit filed by the NoHo Diagnostic City against the city claims that a raid of the facility in October 2023 resulted in an officer entering an MRI room with a gun, apparently ignoring a warning sign. The machine’s magnets “allegedly sucked his rifle across the room, pinning it against the machine,” the lawsuit claims. While the weapon was eventually freed, the lawsuit says the machine was damaged in the process. (KTLA)
