Woman Claims Dogsitter Gave Her Pets Away

Dogsitting apps have helped pet parents make sure their fur babies are taken care of, but TikToker McKenzie Leigh Comfort claims a Rover dogsitter gave her pets away. Comfort had a trip at the end of August, and after a couple of weeks, she stopped receiving photos toward the end of her vacation. “They kept giving us excuses of, ‘Oh, I’m just not home yet’—blah, blah, blah,” Comfort explains. When her vacation was over, she received a message saying their dogs had been dropped off at their “new home.” Rover allegedly confirmed that the dogsitter in question had been banned from the app. Fortunately, thanks to social media, Comfort was able to recover her pets. “We have the dogs—they’re home, they’re safe, they’re happy. But watch out out there, because people are crazy,” Comfort concludes. (Daily Dot)
