Oklahoma Student Discovers New Dinosaur

An Oklahoma student who bought $5,000 worth of dinosaur bones discovered a new species within the bag of bones! Kyle Atkins-Weltman, a PhD candidate in paleo-ecology, has named the new dinosaur the “Pharaoh’s dawn chicken from hell”, or “Eoneophron infernalis” in Latin. The student thought he had purchased bones from an Oviraptorosaur, but realized something was off when the remains were smaller than expected. “My heart skipped a beat because I never expected something like this to fall into my lap,” Atkins-Weltman said.
