A survey of 1,000 Americans found that 80% of adults are worried about the possibility of World War III. 85% of women are worried, compared to 71% of men. Political affiliation also mattered, with Republicans worrying more about a global war than Democrats (84% versus 74%). Independents seem to feel grim about our current leadership: 14% of third party members don’t believe the current Republican or Democrat presidential candidate would save us from such an event.
