Is getting a job all about who you know? A survey by StandOut CV found that 91.3% of respondents would accept their dream job if offered through a personal connection, and 70.2% have received a leg up on the job search through their network. 62.1% admit to reaching out to friends for job opportunities in the past. However, while most of the 1,406 respondents seem comfortable with finding opportunities through their network, 90.6% think that simply being handed a job based on who you know is unethical.
