New research suggests that break dancers could be more at risk for developing “headspin hole.” This injury is a lump on the top of the skull that could be caused by spinning on one’s head, a common breakdancing move. One dancer sought medical attention after feeling the need to wear a hat in public. Doctors discovered a 13-inch lump on top of his head which, fortunately, was not cancer. Researchers also found that those who practiced head spins more than three times a week were more likely to suffer hair loss. (dailymail.co.uk)
