Officials in Canada are struggling to identify white blobs that have washed up on Newfoundland beaches. Some of these masses are smaller than a coin, and others are larger than a dinner plate. Photos have been posted by concerned beachgoers in the Beachcombers of Newfoundland and Labrador Facebook group. Some believe the blobs are some kind of fluid from a whale. “An answer would be nice. It’s not often you find something that stumps people who know this place and these waters,” resident Dave McGrath said. (UPI)
