Colman Domingo is preparing to direct his first feature film, Scandalous, a period drama chronicling the 1950s romance between Kim Novak and Sammy Davis Jr. Sydney Sweeney and David Jonsson are in talks to play the iconic couple. The project is still in early development, but plans to film after Domingo and Sweeney complete their work on Euphoria season 3. Novak and Davis’s relationship was sparked by a connection on The Steve Allen Show in 1956 and ended after a public scandal in 1958 when a Chicago columnist leaked details of their romance.
