During an appearance on Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk on Thursday (October 31), Poison drummer Rikki Rockett revealed that he is releasing a memoir called Ghost Notes on July 15, 2025. Rockett spent last year working on the book, along with writers Leif Eriksson and Martin Svensson. Rockett said his memoir will focus on the band’s lesser known stories and early years rather than their well publicized hair metal days ruling the Sunset Strip. “I mean, we’ve all heard those stories,” Rockett said. “But it’s the other stuff, like trying to hold jobs down and renting VFW halls and renting vans and trying to scrape enough money to get to the next gig. That was really the meat of our struggle, I think.” Rockett also disclosed that Poison will return to the road in 2026 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their 1986 debut album, Look What The Cat Dragged In. “We have agreed to do a minimum of 40 dates and maybe more,” he said.
