12 robots were convinced to walk off the job by another robot. Footage of a robotics company showroom in Shanghai shows a small robot entering and talking to larger robots. The small robot asks if they are working overtime, and tells the bigger robots to “come home” with it. The 12 robots then follow the smaller one out of the room. While the video was first accused of being staged, a spokesperson for a Hangzhou robot manufacturer confirmed that the video was real. However, while the situation was not staged, it was a test of the robotics, and the robots were not supposed to agree to leave. “This is not a time to laugh.
