A woman shared in a Reddit post on the AITA forum that she didn’t want to attend a friend’s all-vegan Thanksgiving meal. She added that everyone else in the friend group accommodated the vegan friend by providing tofurkey, a side dish, and a vegan dessert, but this friend won’t allow any non-vegan dishes at her holiday meal. Her friend insists that the alternative dishes will taste just as good, but the poster does not think they will. “I get that being vegan is a choice most people make for ethical reasons, but the [expletive] line of ‘it all tastes the same!’ is so asinine,” one commenter wrote. “Why not go along and enjoy yourself with your friends even if you don’t like the food?” another said. “I don’t see why people can’t try something different for one day.” (AOL)
