21% of Americans say a partner or spouse is the hardest person to get a gift for. The survey of 2,000 adults who celebrate winter holidays also found that Americans will spend nine hours picking the perfect gift for the most difficult person on their list. The average participant plans to give 16 gifts this season, and their list includes kids, partners, pets, and in-laws. 50% of Americans say the perception of the gift can be impacted by its presentation. “Delivering your presents in a festive gift wrap helps spread even more cheer,” Marissa Cedarleaf of Holiday said. “Chic elements like artist-designed illustration and foil accents add an elevated touch.” (swnsdigital)
