Russia has sent 100 pedigree dairy goats to North Korea in a gesture of goodwill. The Russian Federal Customs Service said the animals were cleared by customs agents in Khasan. Since the route to Khasan opened in 2022, 2,200 live animals have been shipped to North Korea, including horses and Holstein cows. It’s thought that these shipments of animals could be helping relieve food shortages. (Newsweek)
