Kickresume asked 1,000 about their office flings, and found that 33% of respondents have participated in a workplace romance. Of those who participated in workplace relationships, 13% said it progressed into something more serious, and 11% said once the relationship ended, one partner left the job. When it comes to risks, 54% of those polled are afraid of tension if the relationship ends, 43% are concerned about conflicts of interest, and 41% worry about balancing professional and personal boundaries. 40% say their workspace has been impacted by romances due to gossip.
