Stanley Recalls 2.6 Million Mugs

Stanley is recalling 2.6 million mugs that were sold in the United States after customer complaints regarding loose lids. The recall is for all Stanley Switchback and Trigger Action stainless steel travel mugs. So far, the company has received 91 reports of lids coming loose and 38 reports of burn injuries related to those incidents. “Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled travel mugs and contact Stanley to receive a free replacement lid, including shipping,” the Consumer Safety Product Commission said.
