A flight to Mexico had to make an unplanned stop in Bermuda due to smelly passengers: 100 live pigs. The stinky swine, who were in the plane’s cargo hold, emitted a “noxious odor” six hours into the flight from Amsterdam. The aircraft and its 259 passengers landed in Bermuda on Friday and travelers were put up in hotels due to “oxygen issues.” The pigs were left in Bermuda and were later transported on an empty cargo plane to Mexico City. A Skyport representative said the animals were “living high on the hog during their impromptu holiday stopover.” (The Daily Beast)
