A study from The University of Castilla-La Mancha in Spain found that people who take more daily steps are less likely to suffer from depression. Researchers analyzed data from 96,173 adults and found that each additional 1,000 steps were associated with a 9% lower risk. People who took between 7,500 and 9,999 steps daily showed significantly fewer depressive symptoms than less active peers. Physical activity has also been linked to changes in inflammation levels and the regulation of stress responses. (Study Finds)
