24% of adults cannot ride a bike, a survey of 2,000 British adults found. 46% cannot rollerblade, 28% struggle with swimming, and 43% have trouble on the ice. Respondents said fear and embarrassment were the main reasons why they didn’t learn new skills. 52% said they would feel foolish learning a new skill at their current age. 17% wish they had learned how to surf at a younger age. “People shouldn’t be scared to try a new skill even if it is riding a bike or engaging in any sport,” Bond Zhang of HONOR UK said. “It can feel scary and embarrassing to try a new sport, but capturing those moments can really help you improve.” (Study Finds)
