This innovative college student has discovered a way to flip restaurant reservations! Programmer Alex Eisler has developed a bot that will secure spots and then sell them to the highest bidder. Eisler’s largest sale so far was $1,358 for a reservation to a Japanese omakase. To date, he’s made about $105,000 from his bot. While the Better Online Ticket Sales Act reduces use of bots when it comes to buying tickets, it’s unclear if the Act applies to restaurant reservations. (Food Beast)
