Move over, Moo Deng…there’s a new baby pygmy hippo in town! The currently unnamed baby hippo was born at the Metro Richmond Zoo in Virginia on December 9th. The final name choices for her are Poppy and Hammie Mae. Visit MetroRichmondZoo.com now through January 4th to cast or vote, or visit the zoo to vote in-person.
