Bulgaria and Romania joined the Schengen zone in Europe last Wednesday, and humans aren’t the only ones celebrating! The Schengen zone allows residents to travel freely between countries without passport checks. The first traveler to exercise this right was a stray dog from Hungary who walked into Romania during a ceremony. Officials cheered the pup as he entered Romania without a passport check. “He’s a good boy and waited for the crossing to open,” one poster said on X. (India Mashable)
