Bryan Johnson, a millionaire who has gone viral for his attempts to reverse aging in his body, recently stopped a treatment because he feared it was making him “older.” Johnson currently takes 54 supplements daily, and had recently tried the immunosuppressant rapamycin, which is suspected to have anti-aging benefits. However, the drug not only appeared to age Johnson, but he suffered a number of other side effects like skin infections and high glucose levels. “Despite the immense potential from pre-clinical trials, my team and I came to the conclusion that the benefits of lifelong dosing of Rapamycin do not justify the hefty side-effects,” Johnson said on X. Johnson is the subject of a recent Netflix documentary called “Don’t Die: The Man Who Wants To Live Forever.” (Tech Spot)
