1 in 7 Americans haven’t changed their pizza order in the last five years, a poll of 5,000 adults found. 57% are open to trying new combinations, but don’t know where to start. New Mexicans and Hawaiians are most likely to add spice to their pizza, but Michigan residents were least likely to enjoy their pizzas with a picante “kick.” Indiana and Vermont residents were the most loyal: 95% said they are likely to stick with pizza toppings they had in the past. “It’s interesting to see that Americans are stuck in their same-old pizza habits but are craving something new and exciting,” Kate Neuhaus of the Mcllhenny Company said. “We encourage pizza fans to light up their slices with a sauce that brings heat and flavor.” (swnsdigital)
