British woman Gill Punt set a new world record while running a frigid marathon in Norway. The runner, who participated in the PolarNight Marathon in Tromsø, turned heads as she wore a full Polar Bear costume in 14-degree weather. She has now earned the title for the “fastest ice marathon dressed as a mammal” in the female category. She completed the event in 4 hours, 58 minutes, and 29 seconds. Punt runs to raise money for cancer research. “I lost my father at a young age to cancer of the bile duct and this awful event began my fundraising adventures for CRUK,” she explained. (UPI)
