A recent Gallup survey has revealed that the youngest generation of adult workers, Gen Z, already feels burnt out. Only 31% say they felt engaged at work last year. Morale hasn’t been this low for young employees since 2007. Layoffs, return-to-office mandates, and eliminated DEI programs seem to contribute to this fatigue. Only 40% of those under 35 say they know what is expected of them at their jobs, and 78% of those under 30 think AI will have a negative impact on their job prospects. (DIGG)
