Researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences have bred mice that have two genetic fathers. The team used genes from the sperm of two mice along with an egg created from edited stem cells, then implanted this egg into a surrogate mouse. Even though the surrogate mouse birthed the offspring, the pups only had genetic material from their two fathers. These bi-paternal rodents survived into a healthy adulthood. (dailymail.co.uk)
