A painting that was sold for $50 at a garage sale in Minnetonka, Minnesota could in fact be a long-lost van Gogh. The painting, titled “Elimar”, depicts a man smoking a pipe by the ocean. The work was analyzed by New York-based firm LMI Group, which claims that van Gogh created the masterpiece while in a French asylum. If the painting is authenticated, it could be worth $15 million dollars. (UPI)
