Many of us heard that President Donald Trump imposed tariffs on goods from Canada and Mexico on Saturday. But which goods will be impacted? The 25% tariff on imports from Canada could impact the cost of certain metals, cereal and milk products, alcoholic beverages, and books. The United States imports many fresh foods from Mexico, such as: tropical fruits; tomatoes; onions; lettuce; dairy products; eggs; beer; coffee; tea; meat; fish; and avocados. In order to cover the cost of the tariff, the American consumer might see higher prices in grocery stores. (USA Today)
