Most parents wouldn’t shell out $1,700 on a high-tech crib…but what if you could rent one? Happiest Baby, creator of the Snoo smart bassinet, is looking to let parents rent their innovative crib for just $19.99 per month. The company also created an app for $19.99 a month, but parents who paid full price for the crib aren’t always happy about paying an additional fee to use the bassinet. “My anger and frustration comes from paying full price for the Snoo and Happiest Baby changing the deal that we signed up for,” one parent said. However, another smart crib competitor offers similar soothing features for $800: The Elvie Rise. (newser)
