The average couple has 58 arguments about money every year, a survey of 2,000 Americans in a relationship found. Couples are likely to argue over what is considered a necessity (43%), how much to spend on non-essentials like streaming services (36%), and how much should go into savings (34%). 69% of those polled believe they share a similar “money philosophy” with their partner. “By learning about your partner’s attitude toward money…couples can turn typically challenging conversations into opportunities to grow closer together,” Ankita D’Mello of Wise said.
