A wealthy couple sued a developer for selling them a mansion filled with moths. Iya Patarkatsishvili and her husband bought their dream home in May 2019, but the couple said moths living in the insulation soon appeared in their food, toothbrushes, and clothing. On Monday a judge ruled that the property developer “concealed a serious clothes moth infestation of the insulation in the house.” The 68-year-old surveyor reportedly claimed that while he was asked about vermin infestations, moths didn’t count as “vermin.” The couple has been awarded a refund along with damages of $5 million dollars.
