Chinese Snow Village Apologizes For Fake Snow

The Chengdu Snow Village in China has issued an apology on social media for using fake snow made of cotton and soapy water. Some social media posts show large white sheets strewn around the grounds. Operators said unusually warm weather forced them to improvise. “We are sincerely sorry for not being able to exhibit a real snow scene and making visitors change their travel plans,” a statement reads.
