A study from the University of Alberta found that unplugging from the internet could be just as beneficial as therapy…and help reverse 10 years of cognitive decline! Researchers asked 467 iPhone users to install an app that blocked mobile internet while allowing calls and texts. After two weeks, participants felt happier and more satisfied with their lives. They also performed better on attention tests! For those who experienced FOMO, or the “fear of missing out”, disconnecting resulted in improvements in their anxiety levels. (Study Finds)
