Study: Almost 1 In 10 American Adults Identify As LGBTQ

9.3% of American adults identify as LGBTQ, a Gallup report recently found. This is up from 7.6% in 2023. 23.1% of Gen Zers identify as LGBTQ, compared to 3% of baby boomers. “The more Gen Z people who become adults, the higher that number is going to go,” Jeff Jones of Gallup said.
