On February 26th, Amazon will remove the ability to save e-books onto your computer. Once this feature is gone, Kindle e-books can only be transferred to Kindle devices, the app, or Kindle for web via an internet connection. If you use other e-readers, you might want to back up your library while you can! To download your Kindle books, visit your Content Library, pick the book you want to download, select the “More actions” option, and click on “Download & transfer via USB.” (Life Hacker)
